I would not change one thing about our Beaches of Normandy Band of Brothers tour. It is one of the most memorable and important things I have ever done.

The Britain at War tour was my third tour with BoN in as many years (the others being Band of Brothers and Southern Italy). Our Tour Director Ben Major and our driver Pisti were both first rate. All the local guides were outstanding, as you would expect from a BoN tour. For anyone interested in a deeper dive into the Battle of Britain and the lead up to the D-Day invasion, this tour is for you. I doubt that you will be disappointed. The sites, accommodations and meals were excellent. I've already booked my fourth BoN tour for next May (Third Reich Tour), for a deeper understanding of the German involvement in the war.

I would highly recommend this tour. Everything was to expectations. The tour guides were knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Seeing these sites first hand was once in a lifetime experience!!

The length of the tour and the level of details were just perfect. Everything went smoothly and contributed to the best possible experience we could have had. There is no reason to look for another tour company. Beaches of Normandy covers it all.

We were on the inaugural tour of the War in Poland! This tour is a must for anyone interested in learning how WWII started and the treatment of Jewish and Polish people during the war. It is a eye-opening experience of the actions of the Germans on the Poles. Seeing the 3 big death camps to the glorious cathedrals in the different cities was truly a moving experience! Wolf's Liar and Warsaw Salt Mines are must see and included in the tour! The hotels and food are top notch, as well as the tour directors. If you have any thoughts of doing this tour, do not hesitate, do it!! Just be prepared to do a lot of walking!!

We absolutely recommend Beaches of Normandy Tours and feel blessed to have experienced our tour. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words, but a Beaches of Normandy Tour brings emotions, visuals and memories no picture could convey. Truly amazing.

I took a tour with another military theme tour company and was EXTREMELY disappointed with them. I found a tour company that met and exceeded all expectations. If you have an interest in military history and want a tour that is geared to that, Beaches of Normandy is the real deal, look nowhere else!

My second tour with beaches. They were so informative and even though I knew a lot about these sights I learned so much more on this tour. And the hotels, social life, meals were all very good.

I would highly recommend Beaches of Normandy Tours. This sort of trip has been on our 'bucket list' for years. When we saw this tour, it gave my brother and I just what we were looking for, both in destinations and length of time. The Tour guide were excellent, hotels chosen in great locations, the bus was spotless. It was like taking a college level history class every day, places that we read about, seen in movies our whole lives, now shown in relationship to each other. We are going to check out other tours that Beaches of Normandy have to offer.

This tour was unlike all others. They made it easy to imagine being in Normandy on D Day both from the perspective of the soldiers (both sides), their leaders, and from the local citizens. An incredibly emotional and awesome experience.

Beaches of Normandy tours did an excellent job of organizing this tour in a coherent manner. The hotels that were booked were excellent, the tour guide and bus driver were excellent, and the tour itself fully met my expectations.

We recently completed the Band of Brothers Nine Day Tour, and it was one of the most unforgettable travel experiences of our lives. Nora, our tour guide and Tomas, our driver were exceptionally well organized, insightful and just a joy to talk with. Hotels clean and functional with delightful daily breakfast. This was an incredible and deeply moving experience. Itinerary very good, however, lots of free time to explore on your own. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in WWll history. Profound and meaningful trip.

Sensational Experience!

This tour was incredibly well-organized and included everything you could possibly want to see and hear about the Beaches of Normandy. This is not just a recounting of historical events but a powerful story of how the events affected everyone involved, the servicemen and the citizens of those countries who lived through it. Educational programs could learn from how this tour was conducted. It would greatly enhance students' education.

Everything was very well organized and Rey was incredible. Rey contacted us prior to the start of the tour to ensure that we would know where to meet. That was very helpful since we were meeting in a very large airport. From day 1, Rey made sure that she provided any necessary information regarding all of the sites we were visiting. Rey could easily answer any questions we might ask so it was obvious that she really knew what she was talking about. Rey was ALWAYS friendly and interacted with everyone in the group. She was also experienced enough with medical issues and was able to competently provide medical assistance to one of the group when needed without causing any unnecessary drama. Akos, our driver, deserves to be mentioned. He was an incredibly skilled driver and many of the group mentioned how confident they felt with Akos at the wheel. They made a great team.

The "Band of Brothers" tour was everything that I had hoped for. It was comprehensive and informative, and we covered a lot of ground and a lot of history in a little under two weeks. While it was jam-packed -- especially those first few days at Omaha and Utah beaches -- as the tour progressed, we did have time to relax and enjoy the journey. This was my first extensive tour with a group of people (none of whom I had met before), and I was surprised and warmed by the sense of camaraderie I developed with my fellow travelers. I even got a little teary-eyed when we had to say goodbye at the end of the trip. y

This was a great experience! ALL the tour guides were knowledgeable, but most importantly, ENGAGING! Hotels and food were very good. If you have the means, I highly suggest going on a tour. I will be attending their WWI tour in the future.

I suggest providing downtown maps with some highlights of shops, restaurants, walking tours, and historic sights during the "free time/lunch" stops, or provide QR codes to these on your website. 2-3 hours of free time felt excessive in Luxembourg and Munich without any sort of map or orientation. A "menu" of sights, shops, museums, restaurants, etc would have been useful, and let guests with different preferences tailor their free time accordingly. Also- Agnes did a fine job leading the tour of the Commonwealth beaches, but having Sean or a local guide like him on that day would have been valuable.

Your website provided all of the necessary information to prepare for the tour. This is really helpful for an inexperienced overseas traveller, like me. The pre-tour questions I asked were promptly answered. The tour itself was well-organized with a gracious host and professional driver. The hotels and restaurants were all higher quality than I am used to when I travel a solo trip so I appreciate and look forward to that aspect of the trip, too.

The Beaches of Normandy tour was everything I could have hoped for. I loved history and this tour brought everything together with by telling us the back stories and taking us to places where the war was planned. We also learned the detailed plans and execution of the American and British Invasion. Excellent

After a lot of research we decided to take our bucket list tour with the Beaches of Normandy. The checklist helped ensure we had everything we needed for the trip. Our tour guide Rey, made us feel like we knew her before the trip, We left knowing and appreciating the sacrifices that were made by this generation of young men and women. The trip made this part of our history come alive in ways that were unexpected. If you are at all hesitant about taking this tour don’t wait. We were able to meet people who were there and could share their experiences. I can’t say enough about how professionally coordinated this trip was.

I have to be honest, I participated in this tour because my husband wanted to do it. But, I’m so glad I agreed to go. It far exceeded my every expectation, as well as his. The itinerary was perfectly planned and then flawlessly executed by engaging guides whose enthusiasm of each area’s history was infectious. Our tour director, Rey, handled every detail perfectly, and was a true joy to travel with. Our skilled driver, Akos, kept us safe on every journey. The 4-star hotels were everything we hoped they would be, and the meals were as well. My only suggestion to Beaches of Normandy would be to not change a thing, because you don’t mess with perfection.

Wonderful guides. Ben is truly the best tour guide. We saw so much every day and never could have seen so much on our own. They really kept a tight, strict schedule. Food was wonderful and the size of the group was perfect. We really learned so much and all of the pieces of the World War 2 puzzle were put together for us.

I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in this part of history. Your employees, and contractors, are all professionals and provided critical insight into the tour locations, and persons actually involved in these war time incidents, that the group would have never been able to know.

The entire tour was wonderful. The only negative would be the Terrace Restaurant in Bayeux. Food was almost inedible. Also the ham dinner was trerrible as well - do not remember the restaurant name. Everything else was top notch! No improvement necessary! Thank you!

Overall this was a great tour. The guides and director were amazing and the sights we witnessed were a once-in-a-lifetime experience! My criticisms are minor: I would gladly pay more and have the tour pick up all of the admissions to the museums. This would have beer especially helpful at the Eagles Nest, as we were limited in times we could get tickets up to and back down because we were delayed by road conditions. One other suggestion that you may want to consider, our other tours to Europe have had all tour participants linked together ahead of time on WhatsApp. This could be a way to communicate day-to-day changes and locate people who may be late.

I love the tour and what was offered

We can't more highly recommend a tour of the place where the Battle of the Bulge was fought than Beaches of Normandy. The sights took our breath away, and we learned more than I thought was possible about WWII––much more than I'd learned in all of the books I'd studied and in long interviews with my father who fought there.

Outstanding!! I'd absolutely recommend Beaches of Normandy Tours to anyone interested in a deeper dive, "boots on the ground" visit to key locations of our military history. As a retired U.S. Army Officer who has learned and read about the Battle of the Bulge from an early age, it was incredible to walk some of the ground my Uncle walked on 80 years ago and see how all the various aspects of the Battle - most of which were outside his purview - contributed to its progress and conclusion. With a great itinerary of key sites and museums combined with superb local experts and customer-oriented staff, this was a trip worth taking.

This tour far outweighed our expectations. At times, we felt as if we were in the Battle of the Bulge fighting along side the soldiers. It was a very humbling experience and we highly recommend this company.

I would highly recommend Beaches of Normandy tours. The Tour director was superb, The tour guides were very knowledgeable, and the trip was laid out very well. The accommodations were superb and the food at them was very good. Once again I would highly suggest you give them a try.

A lot of friends knew I was going on this trip and wanted to know how it went. It's going to take a while to convey my thoughts and recommendations. It was not a vacation so much as it was a history lesson. One of the best I have had.

It was all above and beyond my expectations.

I would love to do a repeat of this tour in a couple of years just to pick up on what I missed the first time. It was so comprehensive in what was shared, by both the tour director and the guides, who were all amazingly wonderful themselves! The time at each location was adequate without feeling rushed, yet left time to see many sites along the way. The cohesion of the group added to our experience, and the comfort of the bus made the road travel enjoyable. So, so wonderful! I'd give 100 stars to this if I could.

There is no way we would have had the same amazing experience on our own without the knowledge of these guides. The stories and extra history they all brought to the table are things that made this tour so unique. I can't imagine going to all these places on our own and ever knowing some of the unique aspects of history any other way.

Beaches of Normandy is a fabulous organization. They not only cover the WWI history but also provide lots of extras such as the champaign tasting, the Last Post ceremony, the air museum, and the WWII surrender site. BoN always provides great value for the money and memories we'll never forget.

From the day we started at the airport in Paris until our return to the airport when finished every detail was taken care of. Easy directions to find the tour bus at the airport and the schedule of locations during the tour was great. Smooth running operation

This was our first time using a tour company for a trip and we were not disappointed. Everything was well planned down to the last detail. Our tour guides were very good, especially Chris in Normandy. The hotels we stayed in were very nice (still not sure the difference between a 3 or 4 star hotel) and the breakfasts were a great way to start the day. All in all the trip exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate use Beaches of Normandy again.

If you ever desired to take a tour of European sites key to WWII, the Beaches of Normandy 11-day Band of Brothers tour is for you. The tour hit all the major historical sites you need to see and the logistics to allow you to focus totally on absorbing what you see and learn. I can honestly say there was no way I could put all the trip planning, lodging, transportation, food and local guides together more logically and economically than how Beaches of Normandy did. The experience was worth every penny, and I am very much looking forward to the next tour I take with them!
