Your website provided all of the necessary information to prepare for the tour. This is really helpful for an inexperienced overseas traveller, like me. The pre-tour questions I asked were promptly answered. The tour itself was well-organized with a gracious host and professional driver. The hotels and restaurants were all higher quality than I am used to when I travel a solo trip so I appreciate and look forward to that aspect of the trip, too.

The Beaches of Normandy tour was everything I could have hoped for. I loved history and this tour brought everything together with by telling us the back stories and taking us to places where the war was planned. After a lot of research we decided to take our bucket list tour with the Beaches of Normandy. The checklist helped ensure we had everything we needed for the trip. Our tour guide Rey, made us feel like we knew her before the trip, We left knowing and appreciating the sacrifices that were made by this generation of young men and women. The trip made this part of our history come alive in ways that were unexpected. If you are at all hesitant about taking this tour don’t wait. We were able to meet people who were there and could share their experiences. I can’t say enough about how professionally coordinated this trip was.

I have to be honest, I participated in this tour because my husband wanted to do it. But, I’m so glad I agreed to go. It far exceeded my every expectation, as well as his. The itinerary was perfectly planned and then flawlessly executed by engaging guides whose enthusiasm of each area’s history was infectious. Our tour director, Rey, handled every detail perfectly, and was a true joy to travel with. Our skilled driver, Akos, kept us safe on every journey. The 4-star hotels were everything we hoped they would be, and the meals were as well. My only suggestion to Beaches of Normandy would be to not change a thing, because you don’t mess with perfection.

The overall service of this tour cannot be overstated. From beginning to end, it was wonderfully done. We would absolutley recommend this 9 day tour. Wonderful guides. Ben is truly the best tour guide. We saw so much every day and never could have seen so much on our own. They really kept a tight, strict schedule. Food was wonderful and the size of the group was perfect. We really learned so much and all of the pieces of the World War 2 puzzle were put together for us.

I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in this part of history. Your employees, and contractors, are all professionals and provided critical insight into the tour locations, and persons actually involved in these war time incidents, that the group would have never been able to know.

The entire tour was wonderful. The only negative would be the Terrace Restaurant in Bayeux. Food was almost inedible. Also the ham dinner was trerrible as well - do not remember the restaurant name. Everything else was top notch! No improvement necessary! Thank you!

Overall this was a great tour. The guides and director were amazing and the sights we witnessed were a once-in-a-lifetime experience! My criticisms are minor: I would gladly pay more and have the tour pick up all of the admissions to the museums. This would have beer especially helpful at the Eagles Nest, as we were limited in times we could get tickets up to and back down because we were delayed by road conditions. One other suggestion that you may want to consider, our other tours to Europe have had all tour participants linked together ahead of time on WhatsApp. This could be a way to communicate day-to-day changes and locate people who may be late.

We can't more highly recommend a tour of the place where the Battle of the Bulge was fought than Beaches of Normandy. The sights took our breath away, and we learned more than I thought was possible about WWII––much more than I'd learned in all of the books I'd studied and in long interviews with my father who fought there.

Outstanding!! I'd absolutely recommend Beaches of Normandy Tours to anyone interested in a deeper dive, "boots on the ground" visit to key locations of our military history. As a retired U.S. Army Officer who has learned and read about the Battle of the Bulge from an early age, it was incredible to walk some of the ground my Uncle walked on 80 years ago and see how all the various aspects of the Battle - most of which were outside his purview - contributed to its progress and conclusion. With a great itinerary of key sites and museums combined with superb local experts and customer-oriented staff, this was a trip worth taking.

This tour far outweighed our expectations. At times, we felt as if we were in the Battle of the Bulge fighting along side the soldiers. It was a very humbling experience and we highly recommend this company.

The tour was outstanding. Very professional organization with wonderful people. The mix of WW II is Tory and cultural sights was well chosen. The hotels and meals were excellent. Rey was incredible. So appreciative that my wife had the opportunity to visit many of the places her dad fought during his service in the African, Sicilian, and Italian campaigns.

Smooth running operation

This was our first time using a tour company for a trip and we were not disappointed. Everything was well planned down to the last detail. Our tour guides were very good, especially Chris in Normandy. The hotels we stayed in were very nice (still not sure the difference between a 3 or 4 star hotel) and the breakfasts were a great way to start the day. All in all the trip exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate use Beaches of Normandy again.

The tour hit all the major historical sites you need to see and the logistics to allow you to focus totally on absorbing what you see and learn. I can honestly say there was no way I could put all the trip planning, lodging, transportation, food and local guides together more logically and economically than how Beaches of Normandy did. I was reticent to take a structured tour on such a long vacation; our normal MO is to have much more unstructured, follow-our-nose getaways. In this case, that would have been an enormous mistake. I have been a student of WW2 my entire life, From an early age I have been a reader of history especially the European Theater of the war. The Britain at War Tour brings to life all of the things I have read about and seen on movies. This tour exposes you to the places and the equipment of WW2 in Britain. You see the actual size of the planes, tanks, and ships. The 10 Days of Britain Tour goes quickly leaving you wanting to explore more, however its difficult to to decide what more could be added, I cannot imagine trying to organize a trip like this tour on my own or with a tour guide and miss out on the knowledge of the subject matter experts provided on the tour. I extended my tour by going on the 11 Day Band of Brothers Tour that follows in the footsteps of the 101St Airborne in Europe.

The places you see, the people you meet and the time you spend in the many historic locations that are part of the Band of Brothers and Battle of Britain tours will leave you with a lifetime of memories. Of the 4 hotels, this was my favorite. Beautiful lobby, very comfortable and quiet room.

I had a wonderful time. I loved learning about the different sites that we visited. I've always been interested in military history. Our group was great. Having other people who are interested in the same topics made it a lot of fun. My hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffets were nice. Adam and Dede took good care of our group. If you’re into WWII history this is the tour to take. I was apprehensive about taking my first bus tour but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the trip. Barry was great and the tour logistics were performed flawlessly. I would highly recommend this trip.

Was a great tour. I came as a way to honor my Father who was in the Battle of the Bulge and get and idea of what he went through. He fought at St. Vith and north of Bastogne.

The BoN tour that I went on met my expectations. The guides were very informative an knowledgeable. This tour gave me a better insight into the sacrifices of the men that faought during WWII. This was an outstanding tour! We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of it - the tour guides & rich commentaries, the beautiful bus and DeDe, the tremendous bus driver, the food, the hotels- everything was first rate! We thought we knew a lot about WWII & the 101st Airborne, but we learned so much more! This tour is very immersive, which we loved, but some people may find the amount of information overwhelming. There were so many fabulous stops including The Beaches, the Ardiennes forest with foxhole, the little towns, Bastonge & museums, the cemeteries, & Hitler's Eagle's Nest. Anyone can go to all these places, but the tour guides (Bettina especially, and also the local guides - Alex, Henry, Steve, Cyril & Brendan) brought each location to life! The tour was incredible, and I highly recommend this tour!
