The Band of Brothers Tour was simply amazing. If you want to be where it really happened, take this tour. My warning is that as you go through the tour and see the locations be ready to be a changed person. No amount of reading or movies will prepare you for what you will experience on this tour.

This was my first time participating in an organized tour. I had low expectations and they exceeded every aspect! Well thought out and they did a great job of weaving stories and history into everything and everywhere we went.

Yes I would highly recommend you. The tour was fantastic. After the tour anyone can understand what it was like, how the Nazis were and how much it cost to defeat them.

I would be more interested in other tours if they were structured as Economic Packages. I appreciate the flexibility for meals and museums.

Everything was organized and ready to go, no snafus, no change of plans, all contingencies covered, a well oiled machine. George and Zoltan, our driver, had everything covered.

My wife and I just returned from the 9-Day Band of Brothers Tour, and it was one of the most meaningful experiences we have ever had. Like many people who take this tour, I had watched Band of Brothers and read about these events for years. But standing on Omaha Beach, walking through Bastogne, visiting the American cemeteries, and seeing these places in person brings history to life in a way that is difficult to describe. A big part of what made this trip so special was our guide, George, and our driver Zoltan. George’s knowledge of the history was outstanding, but what really stood out was his passion for sharing the stories of the men who fought here. He made every stop personal and meaningful. Our driver safely and professionally handled every mile of the journey while always being friendly and helpful. Together, they made an excellent team and took great care of everyone on the tour. We also had the pleasure of meeting owner Severine Diaz. It was clear from the moment we met her how much she cares about preserving the history of Normandy and ensuring her guests have an unforgettable experience. Her dedication is reflected throughout every aspect of the tour. One of the unexpected highlights for us was the visit to Mont-Saint-Michel. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, and learning about its history while exploring the island was an experience we will never forget. We took the Beaches of Normandy tour; we were lucky enough to be at Normandy Cemetery on Memorial Day witnessing TAPS as veterans that was truly memorable. The places we visited, the people we met local and on the tour, really enhanced the experience. Our tour guide was excellent and the skills of our bus driver unmatched. We would really recommend this tour if you have interest in D-day and WWII.

I have no suggestions on what you could do to improve the tours you have or other tours that might be of interest. You seem to cover everything.

The Third Reich Tour was my fourth BoN tour in as many years. I believe that alone speaks volumes about how I perceive the quality of a BoN tour. I'm already planning for my fifth tour in 2027, the World War One tour.

This was my second tour with Beaches of Normandy, with two previous tours with Beyond Band of Brothers (Normandy and American Civil War). I have never been disappointed with any of the tours. The hotels are top rate, the meals are excellent, the tour directors are outstanding. This was our first ever group tour and everything was beyond excellent! Our tour director and all the tour guides were superb! I would highly recommend the Beaches of Normandy Tours. This was my husband´s 70th birthday travel bucket list item as he loves military history. I thought I would be a little bored, BUT that was not the case. With expert guides and the right balance of history with free time in some of the towns, I never lost interest. My husband and I liked the hotel we stayed at during the tour. It was centrally located in Caen and very nice, as well as the breakfasts and dinners. We liked the fact you could unpack once and visit all the Normandy beaches. I can´t give and say enough praises about our tour guide, Tunde, and our driver, Zoltan, - other than the best I have had on other tours and cruises.

I strongly recommend the Grand Italian tour. It exceeded my expectations and I made friends with several fellow travelers. After my second tour with Beaches of Normandy, I am absolutely certain that I will participate in World War/war themed tours with no other company. Exceptional tour first class five stars!!!!!!

This trip was even better than we had imagined. To others reading reviews try to take this trip during D-Day as there are many celebrations and American flags, vehicles from the war, people dressed up in timely clothing and celebrations that added even more to a wonderful trip. It was so moving to visit the places our fathers had been so many years ago and the trip explained so much that our fathers never wanted to talk about. The local guides added much more information than just viewing the attractions on your own. The beaches, museums, towns, memorials and so much more than we would have ever thought about. It was wonderful to visit so many places along with the time for us to explore some of the places somewhat on our own. The trip kept us busy but not to the point of wearing a person out and the free time through the day was good to allow everyone to do things that interested them. The hotels were great and a nice breakfast was a good start to every day. The timing of the start and end of each day was appropriate and allowed us visit also with others in the group. I have recommended this trip to many people. This is the best trip I have ever taken.

Exceptional tour! Much of WWII played out or impacted Poland - this tour was an incredible learning experience. The tour director, local tour guides and tour itinerary brought Poland and its WWII history to life.

The WWI tour was thoughtfully and efficiently planned to address as clearly as possible the overlapping and often confusing major offensives of the war. Our Beaches of Normandy Tour exceeded every expectation that we had, it was the best money we've spent on a vacation! The days were filled with in-depth knowledge on the areas and the history. Every detail during our journey (aside from airfare) was taken care of, including tour tickets, hotel accommodations and museum entrance fees. We never had to stand in line for entrances for sights, and didn't have to depend on ourselves to figure out an itinerary. The staff is a lot of fun and friendly, they seem to truly love what they do. We highly recommend!

I would not change one thing about our Beaches of Normandy Band of Brothers tour. It is one of the most memorable and important things I have ever done.

The Britain at War tour was my third tour with BoN in as many years (the others being Band of Brothers and Southern Italy). Our Tour Director Ben Major and our driver Pisti were both first rate. All the local guides were outstanding, as you would expect from a BoN tour. For anyone interested in a deeper dive into the Battle of Britain and the lead up to the D-Day invasion, this tour is for you. I doubt that you will be disappointed. The sites, accommodations and meals were excellent. I've already booked my fourth BoN tour for next May (Third Reich Tour), for a deeper understanding of the German involvement in the war.

We were on the inaugural tour of the War in Poland! This tour is a must for anyone interested in learning how WWII started and the treatment of Jewish and Polish people during the war. It is a eye-opening experience of the actions of the Germans on the Poles. Seeing the 3 big death camps to the glorious cathedrals in the different cities was truly a moving experience! Wolf's Liar and Warsaw Salt Mines are must see and included in the tour! The hotels and food are top notch, as well as the tour directors. If you have any thoughts of doing this tour, do not hesitate, do it!! Just be prepared to do a lot of walking!!

I would highly recommend Beaches of Normandy Tours. This sort of trip has been on our 'bucket list' for years. When we saw this tour, it gave my brother and I just what we were looking for, both in destinations and length of time. The Tour guide were excellent, hotels chosen in great locations, the bus was spotless. It was like taking a college level history class every day, places that we read about, seen in movies our whole lives, now shown in relationship to each other. We are going to check out other tours that Beaches of Normandy have to offer.

This tour was unlike all others. They made it easy to imagine being in Normandy on D Day both from the perspective of the soldiers (both sides), their leaders, and from the local citizens. An incredibly emotional and awesome experience.

Beaches of Normandy tours did an excellent job of organizing this tour in a coherent manner. The hotels that were booked were excellent, the tour guide and bus driver were excellent, and the tour itself fully met my expectations.

We recently completed the Band of Brothers Nine Day Tour, and it was one of the most unforgettable travel experiences of our lives. Nora, our tour guide and Tomas, our driver were exceptionally well organized, insightful and just a joy to talk with. Hotels clean and functional with delightful daily breakfast. This was an incredible and deeply moving experience. Itinerary very good, however, lots of free time to explore on your own. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in WWll history. Profound and meaningful trip.

This tour was incredibly well-organized and included everything you could possibly want to see and hear about the Beaches of Normandy. This is not just a recounting of historical events but a powerful story of how the events affected everyone involved, the servicemen and the citizens of those countries who lived through it. Educational programs could learn from how this tour was conducted. It would greatly enhance students' education.

Everything was very well organized and Rey was incredible. Rey contacted us prior to the start of the tour to ensure that we would know where to meet. That was very helpful since we were meeting in a very large airport. From day 1, Rey made sure that she provided any necessary information regarding all of the sites we were visiting. Rey could easily answer any questions we might ask so it was obvious that she really knew what she was talking about. Rey was ALWAYS friendly and interacted with everyone in the group. She was also experienced enough with medical issues and was able to competently provide medical assistance to one of the group when needed without causing any unnecessary drama. Akos, our driver, deserves to be mentioned. He was an incredibly skilled driver and many of the group mentioned how confident they felt with Akos at the wheel. They made a great team.

The "Band of Brothers" tour was everything that I had hoped for. It was comprehensive and informative, and we covered a lot of ground and a lot of history in a little under two weeks. While it was jam-packed -- especially those first few days at Omaha and Utah beaches -- as the tour progressed, we did have time to relax and enjoy the journey. This was my first extensive tour with a group of people (none of whom I had met before), and I was surprised and warmed by the sense of camaraderie I developed with my fellow travelers. I even got a little teary-eyed when we had to say goodbye at the end of the trip. y

This was a great experience! ALL the tour guides were knowledgeable, but most importantly, ENGAGING! Hotels and food were very good. If you have the means, I highly suggest going on a tour. I will be attending their WWI tour in the future.

I suggest providing downtown maps with some highlights of shops, restaurants, walking tours, and historic sights during the "free time/lunch" stops, or provide QR codes to these on your website. 2-3 hours of free time felt excessive in Luxembourg and Munich without any sort of map or orientation. A "menu" of sights, shops, museums, restaurants, etc would have been useful, and let guests with different preferences tailor their free time accordingly. Also- Agnes did a fine job leading the tour of the Commonwealth beaches, but having Sean or a local guide like him on that day would have been valuable.

Your website provided all of the necessary information to prepare for the tour. This is really helpful for an inexperienced overseas traveller, like me. The pre-tour questions I asked were promptly answered. The tour itself was well-organized with a gracious host and professional driver. The hotels and restaurants were all higher quality than I am used to when I travel a solo trip so I appreciate and look forward to that aspect of the trip, too.

The Beaches of Normandy tour was everything I could have hoped for. I loved history and this tour brought everything together with by telling us the back stories and taking us to places where the war was planned. We also learned the detailed plans and execution of the American and British Invasion. Excellent

After a lot of research we decided to take our bucket list tour with the Beaches of Normandy. The checklist helped ensure we had everything we needed for the trip. Our tour guide Rey, made us feel like we knew her before the trip, We left knowing and appreciating the sacrifices that were made by this generation of young men and women. The trip made this part of our history come alive in ways that were unexpected. If you are at all hesitant about taking this tour don’t wait. We were able to meet people who were there and could share their experiences. I can’t say enough about how professionally coordinated this trip was.

I have to be honest, I participated in this tour because my husband wanted to do it. But, I’m so glad I agreed to go. It far exceeded my every expectation, as well as his. The itinerary was perfectly planned and then flawlessly executed by engaging guides whose enthusiasm of each area’s history was infectious. Our tour director, Rey, handled every detail perfectly, and was a true joy to travel with. Our skilled driver, Akos, kept us safe on every journey. The 4-star hotels were everything we hoped they would be, and the meals were as well. My only suggestion to Beaches of Normandy would be to not change a thing, because you don’t mess with perfection.

Wonderful guides. Ben is truly the best tour guide. We saw so much every day and never could have seen so much on our own. They really kept a tight, strict schedule. Food was wonderful and the size of the group was perfect. We really learned so much and all of the pieces of the World War 2 puzzle were put together for us.

I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in this part of history. Your employees, and contractors, are all professionals and provided critical insight into the tour locations, and persons actually involved in these war time incidents, that the group would have never been able to know.

The entire tour was wonderful. The only negative would be the Terrace Restaurant in Bayeux. Food was almost inedible. Also the ham dinner was trerrible as well - do not remember the restaurant name. Everything else was top notch! No improvement necessary! Thank you!
